Over 1,000 5-star reviews for our real community customers
We purchased this shelf for our library's new board game collection. We were happy that it arrived within six weeks of ordering. The shelf is good, now that we have it put together.
Unfortunately, there are only very basic instructions for assembling the shelf. Because of this, we had to take things apart several times. All in all, it took about 3 hours for 3 of us to completely assemble it. Below are some notes that may be helpful to others.
--Be sure you have the bars properly oriented (this is shown in the directions).
--There are holes for crossbars; they need to go to the back. The bars without holes go on the front.
--If you have multiple layers, screw the middle shelf on the top and bottom.
--If you have drawers, it's easiest to put the bars on first, then put in the drawer. Pay careful attention to front and back of the bars (there's a stopper at the back). The drawer bars have long pegs and shorter pegs. It works best if you insert the long-peg sides first.
--When adding crossbars, the black part of the center screw goes to the front, and the silver part to the back.
--Inserting the shelves can be frustrating, but you'll get the hang of it.
The shelf pieces are well-constructed, and now that it's assembled, we're looking forward to using it well!
product is good. Instructions are worthless
TheBoxKing shelving system was worth the four-month wait. The extra bracing on the back is nice, but new instructions are needed to show which of these new parts go where. After assembling it twice, though, and putting my games on it, I love this shelving even more than I thought I would. Each game is clearly visible, easily accessible, and neatly organized inside their boxes.
This shelf is a fantastic addition to my home! It’s sturdy, stylish, and makes game nights so much easier. Couldn’t be happier with my purchase!
The shelf is really great for smaller setups, but I feel like it could use a bit more room for bigger gaming setups. Still, it's a solid shelf, and I’m happy with the purchase. If you don’t need a lot of space, this is perfect.
