Gaming Table FAQ

How long will it take to my order?

Everything is MADE-TO-ORDER. Once the Wave locks, we will put your order in the manufacturing queue, and you'll receive your order in about 3-5 months.

What conutries do you ship to?

We ship to USA, Canada, UK, EU and Australia.

For other countries, please contact us at support@boxkinggaming.com - we can give you a shipping quote and manually place your order.

How do I order a table?

1. Buy one "Project Ironside" table, or two tables and a "Connector Pack" if you want to combine two tables in a larger one. If you want an extended table, get the "Extension Kit" as well.

2. Add your wood topper (either the "Convertible Wood Toppers" or one of the "6x5' HUGE Wood Toppers").

3. Add your accessories like cup holders, playmats, and arm rests.

Every Project Ironside comes with one 3mm playmat, but does not include any cup holders, hole covers, or other add-on accessories - those need to be purchased separately.

Every table is made-to-order! Once you've placed your order, it'll be in the production queue and delivered in about 5 months.

Which wood topper do I need?

If you have one Project Ironside, you just need one Convertible Wood Topper.

If you have one Ironside + a 2' Extension, then you need one Convertible Wood Topper and one Extra Wood Panels (2-pack).

If you have 2 Ironsides and a Connector Pack, then you need a 6x5' HUGE Wood Topper.

What do I need to expand my table?

6x5' connected table requires: 2x Project Ironside tables, 1x Connector Pack. If you want to make it bar height, add 1x 6x5 Bar Height Table Kit. If you want to make it a coffee table, just add one Coffee Table Conversion Kit.

If you want to expand one Ironside by 2' (60cm) to make a 7' long table: select 1x Project Ironside and 1x Ironside Extension Pack. To cover it with a wood topper, you'll need 1x Convertible Wood Topper and 1x Extra Wood Panels (2-pack).

What are the dimension of a Project Ironside Table?

Play area: 3' x 5' (150x91cm)

Outer dimensions: 64" x 41" (162x105cm)

Adjustable height: 29 - 31" (74-78cm)

Vault: 2.75" deep (7cm)

Height under the table: about 26.5" (67 cm) - height is adjustable because of 2" screw-in adjustable feet.

How many games can the BoxThrone hold?

Great question, your Majesty! It depends on how you set it up — each shelf gives you a max area of 39 x 43.5 cm storage space, minus the size of the 4 pillars (4 x 2.5 cm each). That's about the size of one standard square box and a couple of "expansion" sized box, or 4-5 smaller games. Two rectangle boxes also fit in that space. Configuring your BoxThrone to maximize space will allow you to fit up to 20 games of various sizes per BoxThrone.

Will the system come with wall anchors? Does it need to be attached to the wall?

How modular is the BoxThrone?

Super modular! Every "base" and "top"  is identical, and the "columns" are all interchangeable. This means that you can re-configure ANY BoxThrone setup into a different layout (e.g., the BoxKing can be converted from two double BoxThrone towers into three single BoxThrones). You can even create triple BoxThrones (approximately 9 feet high). If you can imagine it, you can do it!

What are the parts of the BoxThrone made out of?

The BoxThrone is almost completely powder-coated metal. The exception is the bases - these are made from high-grade, furniture-quality ABS. These bases have brass screw linings to make to the BoxThrone easy to construct. The ABS bases are engineered and tested to hold a ton of weight - over 200 kg (over 400 lbs).

What are the front and side opening dimensions?

Front: 35.5 cm / 13.97"
Side: 33.6 cm  / 13.22"

What are the approximate dimensions of the system?

BoxDuke + 24 shelves: 122 cm / 48" wide x 79 cm / 31" tall x 39 cm / 15.35" deep
BoxKing + 48 shelves: 122 cm / 48" wide x 157 cm / 62" tall x 39 cm / 15.35" deep
BoxLegend + 80 shelves: 201 cm / 79" wide x 157 cm / 62" tall x 39 cm / 15.35" deep
One tower (tower expansion): 43.5 cm / 17.13" wide x 157 cm / 62" tall x 39 cm / 15.35" deep

Adding extra wide shelves to your BoxThrone system? Simply add 29.5 cm / 11.5" to the width.

Do ShortThrones connect to regular BoxThrones?

ShortThrones were designed to connect to other ShortThrones, but after talking to customers and backers, we want to give you more flexibility in your BoxThrone setups.

So, we have created a "ShortThrone shelf adjuster" - a free 3D printer file. Print this file off with a 3D printer, and insert it into the ShortThrone's column holes to raise the shelves up a little and make them even with the side connecting to your regular BoxThrone.

What are the assembly instructions for board games storage, baohan ruxia neirong?

Basic instruction manual

This manual comes with all BoxThrone systems. It covers basic frame construction (single and double BoxThrones), shelf insertion and safety notices. Click here to see it!

Strapping the playmat holder

Imagine the top 4 holes of the playmat holder are labelled 1, 2, 3, and 4 from top to bottom. Take a strap and push it through the outer face of Hole 1, and then through the inner face of Hole 2. Pull this strap down to the outer face of Hole 3, push it through Hole 3 and then loop it through Hole 4. Pull the strap until both dangling straps are even. This way you'll get a nice C-shaped (Pacman-esque) gripping mechanism with the straps.

Inserting the drawer

The drawer is made up of 3 parts: the two outer rails and the drawer tray. Insert the outer rails into the BoxThrone column holes first. Ensure they are lined up evenly and that the black rubber "bumper" in the rail is facing towards the back of the BoxThrone. Slide the drawer tray onto the rails.

To remove the drawer tray from the outer rails, there are two latch mechanisms inside each outer rail. They are about halfway in, and look like black plastic sticks. Using a pen or long screwdriver, push one down, and the other up to release the drawer.

Token Sesame FAQ

How does the product work?

Every set comes with a detailed manual - you'll be receiving enough parts to make all the setups on this page and more!

How many configurations can I make?

Many! One body kit contains enough parts to swap between the Carousel and the Staircase, short Walker configurations and many more. The system can be broken apart and reshaped into hundreds of different configurations.

Adding a second Token Sesame will allow you to make even more complex and crazy systems - including a 5 layer Staircase, 4-tier Carousel, long, snakey walkers and more. We also recommend picking up a Walker Expansion Pack to really expand your options.

LAX RAX FAQ

I have a 4x4 cube shelf, which set should I get?

The RAX EMPIRE pledge lets you fully deck out the 4x4 Kallax with 3 shelves per cube.

RAX LORD lets you deck out a 2x4 Kallax with 3 shelves per cube.

RAX DABBLER lets you deck out a 1x4 (horizontally) or 2x2 Kallax with 3 shelves per cube.

Do I need heavy duty or regular LAX RAX?

A regular LAX RAX shelf uses (at a minimum), 4 rods. A heavy-duty LAX RAX shelf uses 8 rods.

You can achieve the same weight rating as a heavy duty shelf using an 8-rod regular LAX RAX setup.

Will this fit in non-Kallax cube shelves?

Although LAX RAX is designed for Kallax, it will work with any cubes that are up to 33.6cm wide (13.25"). If the width of your cubes is larger than that, then LAX RAX won't work with your shelves.

If the width is slightly smaller (i.e. Home & Garden Cube shelves that are about 33.4cm wide), you can place one side of the grips slightly further back in the cube shelves so that the LAX RAX rods fit (making a slight diagonal placement, but this won't be very noticeable).

How do the organizer drawers work?

The drawers are 31x35x5cm - This means they have an approximate depth of 4.8cm, which covers most pocket game sizes. The drawer is also open top which means technically they can accommodate any height of game/bits/goodies/things. The each have a silver or black nylon material pull loop.

On the dividers - the dividers are those white boney looking things you see in the GIFs in the campaign page, they are approximately 35-40cm long and you get 6 of them - this would be enough to create (at a maximum) a 4x4 grid of storage holes. However, we know games come many sizes so you can snap portions of the dividers off to create smaller storage sections. Each of the 6 divider strips have "teeth" on one side, so you can slot them into each other. Please see the GIFs on the campaign page for an example of said slotting. Each of these "teeth" are 8mm wide, followed by a 2mm gap, followed by an 8mm tooth and so on.
