Dine In Royalty, Game Like Kings!

One of the biggest obstacles to integrating your love of tabletop games and board games into your daily life is the incongruity of adult life and the whimsical state of play we prefer to enjoy. Well, with the Kingswood gaming table from BoxKing Gaming, you may finally have the answer to all your (and possibly your housemates’) quibbles with your gaming hobby. This dynamic new gaming table has all the veneer and class of any high-end dining table you might find after a good root around in an antique store or a boutique, except it hides a wonderful secret.
Beneath the Kingswood’s four sleek toppers is a 2.75” deep space for laying out your play mats and playing the games you love to your heart’s content! So, during the day you might play host to a bevy of friends and family, and once the night’s gotten suitably flamboyant enough, convert your run-of-the-mill dining space into a gaming battleground fitting of the occasion. The Kingswood is made from 100% Rubberwood, making it environmentally friendly as well as an inviting sight in any dining room.
Now, the discerning of you will have noticed the cup holders and other accoutrements attached to the Kingswood in the image above, and those aren’t even all the accessories available for it. The 3’ x 5’ blue playmat that’s fit snugly into the Kingswood comes in a variety of colors to lend some versatility to your gaming space and help set the mood. The dice and token holders latch on and slide along the grooves with ease, letting you adjust their placement to permit as many players at the table as possible. The same is true of the cup holders, and you can even attach holders for cards and chips when you have the boys over for poker nights (or Magic: The Gathering, whichever one floats your boat).
As a Forever-DM, I know the struggle of juggling adult life with the unstoppable desire to play games with your friends, and often times that means getting folks in the door and sat around the table straight out of work. I can’t tell you how many times my game nights turn into dining experiences all on their own with players ordering takeout or mussing up the plates with microwave meals. But seeing the Kingswood laid out like this, half dining table and half gaming table, really gets the cogs going in my brain. Perhaps I might finally have a solution to the merged dining / gaming experience! Oh, and in case eating and gaming isn’t homely enough for you, there are even arm rests you can get and attach onto the edges of the table to keep everybody comfortable for the duration.
Preorders for Wave 18 end on March 31, so to maximise your chances and get the Kingswood in your home as early as humanly possible then now’s the time to place your order. For a comprehensive look at the Kingswood table and everything you can do with it, check out this video right here!
