The shelves are really nice. It's great to be able to store all of my games horizontally so pieces don't shift, while still being able to pull out any single game without the awkward shuffle.
My only gripe is that the assembly instructions that come with the shelves should be much more detailed. I ended up having to basically assemble the shelves three times. The first time, it was because I placed half of the uprights upside down. The second time was because I used all the uprights with the threaded holes (for the cross bracket between towers) for the first tower before discovering that only half of them had holes. The third time was because on the very last bolt in the very last base, the threads of the base were messed up and constantly cross threading, so I had to disassemble to make it the top base and not need a bolt in that hole. I feel most of this could be avoided if the instructions were more explicit to check orientation, and if they mentioned or explained how the cross brace was used at all.
Overall shelves 5/5, QC 4/5, instructions 3/5 => total 4/5.
